Privacy

LetsGoWild is a free flight finder. This page explains, in plain language, what we record when you use it. Last updated October 2026.

What we record

To understand how the site is used, we record:

  • Your searches: the routes, dates and options you search for, and how many results came back.
  • Pages you visit and the page that sent you here (including campaign tags in a link, such as utm_source).
  • Time spent: how long a page is open and in use. The clock pauses when the tab is hidden or you stop interacting.
  • Clickson key controls (for example filters, sorting, opening a flight, and the “Book on Frontier” link) and which features you open (calendar, watches, trips).
  • Device and browser: browser, operating system and device type, and your approximate country.

We do not store raw IP addresses, and we don’t record what you type into text fields other than the search itself.

We use two first-party cookies: a long-lived anonymous visitor id and a session id. Before you sign up, your activity is tied only to that anonymous id. When you create or sign in to an account, the anonymous id is linked to your account so your history is one timeline.

Why

Only to improve the product: to see which routes people look for, where searches come back empty, which features get used, and where the experience is confusing or slow. We don’t sell this data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Activity linked to an account is kept until you delete your account. Anonymous visitor activity is kept so we can measure the site over time. Aggregated statistics (counts and averages that don’t identify anyone) are kept after deletion.

Deleting your data

Signed in, open your profile (click your avatar) and choose Account → Delete account. After you confirm with your password, your account is disabled immediately and you are signed out. Deletion requests are reviewed by an administrator; once approved, your account and associated data (your watches, saved trips, and the activity recorded for you, including activity from the anonymous visitor ids linked to it) are permanently deleted and this cannot be undone. Database backups may retain copies until they rotate out.

Anonymous traffic stats

We also use Rybbit, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, for anonymous traffic statistics (page views, countries, referrers).

Questions
